Job Description
We are looking for an eager Prep Cook to enhance our kitchen team. As a prep cook, you have a passion for food, and strive to provide only top quality products to every guest. You set a standard with your dedication to the highest level of cleanliness and food safety. You take ownership of our recipes and ensure everything that is prepared in our kitchen is 100% up to standard.
Responsibilities
- Prepping and storing food to be used in the restaurant while helping to maintain the overall cleanliness of the kitchen.
- Develop your culinary skills to create food you’re proud of while upholding the highest kitchen standards and working in a productive safe manner.
- Create authentic connections with the Lone Star team and collaborate with other kitchen staff and servers.
Requirements
- Lift items up to 30lbs
- Remain standing and active for an 8-10 hour shift
- Hear and respond to crew members’ and guests’ requests
- Able to communicate in English.
