Job Description
We are looking for an eager Line Cook to enhance our kitchen team. As a line cook, you have a passion for food, and strive to provide only top quality products to every guest. You set a standard with your dedication to the highest level of cleanliness and food safety and take ownership of our recipes and ensure everything that is prepared in our kitchen is 100% up to standard.
Responsibilities
- Uphold the Lone Star standard through exceptional food production and execution in the kitchen in a quick and safe manner.
- Maintain a clean and well-presented station, cleaning as you go.
- Be a good team player and work closely with staff from all areas of the restaurant.
- Adapt to any situation and tackle problems as they arise.
- Demonstrate the ability to multi-task by attending to multiple orders at the same time.
Requirements
- Lift items up to 30lbs.
- Remain standing and active for an 8-10 hour shift.
- Hear and respond to crew members’ and guests’ requests.
- Able to speak, write and read English and perform simple math calculations.
