Job Description
The Assistant Kitchen Manager’s (AKM) role is to provide leadership and hands-on assistance to the employees who are preparing great tasting and great looking food for our guests. The AKM is expected to contribute to an equal opportunity environment that is safe and motivating for employees. You will contribute to building the business through strong restaurant execution of food, work-environment, and community relations.
Responsibilities
- Supporting leadership skills using our core values of People, Empowerment, Results and Coaching.
- Passion for food by showcasing your attention to the details of food quality, safety and standards.
- Be a good team player and work closely with staff from all areas of the restaurant.
- Adapt to any situation and tackle problems as they arise.
Requirements
- Standard First Aid and Food Handlers certificate preferred.
- Lift items up to 30lbs.
- Remain standing and active for an 8-10 hour shift.
- Able to speak, write and read English and perform simple math calculations.
